Palmetto Community Hope Foundation

Palmetto Rocky CreekFormerly known as Low Country Community, Inc. this non-profit corporation was created in 1993 with the mission of facilitating and developing affordable housing in South Carolina. LCCI was granted CHDO status from SC State Housing Finance & Development Authority on October 5, 1993. The Articles of Incorporation were amended in 1995 to change the name from LCCI to Palmetto Community Hope Foundation.

Palmetto Community Hope Foundation is also the controlling general partner in four low-income housing tax credit properties in South Carolina, as follows:

Palmetto currently operates under a shared staffing arrangement with its parent organization, Buckeye Community Hope Foundation based in Columbus, Ohio. Steven J. Boone is the President of Palmetto (as well as Buckeye). The Board includes both Ohio and South Carolina residents.
